Windows Infrastructure & Virtualization User Group Gary Olsen here. Microsoft Directory Services MVP. My colleagues and I started the Atlanta Windows Infrastructure and Virtualization User Group (WinVUG) in March of 2009 and we’ve had great success. We currently have over 200 members, joining from as far away as Ohio and Indiana. We meet on a monthly basis on "Patch Tuesday," the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Typically, 1 speaker presents on timely technical topics. There is plenty of food, prizes and we have a great time. For those unable to meet in person, remote access to each meeting is also provided. | PowerShell User Group The Atlanta PowerShell Users Group (ATLPUG) is a local group of IT professionals and developers interested in learning and using Windows PowerShell. All skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcomed to join and are encouraged to participate. The group meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the local Microsoft office in Alpharetta, GA. Meetings start with refreshments and thirty minutes of true social networking followed by a technical presentation. On occasion we will have a Script Club where users are invited to bring their own scripts and receive advice and assistance from other members. Every year the Atlanta PowerShell User Groups co-hosts the Atlanta TechStravaganza and the PowerShell Saturday, a full day event dedicated to all things PowerShell. |
