Happy 4th of July!  Be amazed by AirWatch at our next meeting

7/3/2018

We hope everyone enjoys a fantastic Fourth of July.  Barbecues, family, and fireworks are in store for many of you.

How about a meeting to come to the following week?  Sounds like a plan to me.  Come see us as we take our show on the road and head over to AirWatch, as Chase Bradley and his team present to us some of the ways their Enterprise Mobility Suite of products help manage your enterprises, and how they stack up to Intune and other EMS solutions.  Bring an empty stomach, as food and drinks will be provided.

Chase Bradley is a Solutions Engineer within the EUC organization at VMware, and has worked as a part of the AirWatch team for 8 years within Support and Services. He is currently part of an organization working to enable technology and integration partners on EUC technologies and also works as part of a Windows UEM specialization team that supports Windows 10 engagements in the enterprise.

We look forward to seeing you on July 26.

NOTE: This is an updated meeting, as the original meeting was to take place on July 12.

Joining us will be Ami Casto, Adaptiva's technical evangelist who is responsible for leading the company's efforts to engage with and contribute to the technical systems management community. Ami is a featured speaker at numerous ConfigMgr and Windows 10 related user groups and events throughout the industry.  Ami's discussion topics will be:

Shiny Modern ways of managing Windows 10

This session is a quick walk through of Autopilot and device redeployment through Intune. Will also cover subscription activation.

Deploy Windows 10 Quickly with Adaptiva’s Windows 10 Accelerator Program

Are you excited about Windows 10? So is Adaptiva! We created the Windows 10 Accelerator Program to help enterprises rapidly plan and test, deploy, and maintain Windows 10. In this session, we will show you some of the Program’s exclusive Microsoft MVP videos, training and guides and provide techniques for using Adaptiva OneSite, Adaptiva Client Health for Windows 10 and community tools to speed your Windows 10 migrations. Can't make it to our meeting on Oct 12?  Good, because we are rescheduling

10/10/2017

Our goal was to have a meeting after Microsoft Ignite, but due to some of our schedules, getting everyone out to Microsoft on October 12 just isn't going to work.

Therefore, we are scheduling this meeting to October 26, same place, and same time of day.  Troy Martin with 1E will still be presenting, and we'll have an open discussion on some of the announcements at Microsoft Ignite, and if anything comes out from IT/Dev Connections, we'll discuss those, as well.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on October 26.  For tickets, click here.

No ATLTS, but a future meeting coming up for ATLSMUG

6/29/2017

By now, many of you may have heard that the event we co-sponsor with two other groups, Atlanta TechStravaganza, has been canceled for 2018.  This is normally one of our feature events that we regularly participate in, and are sad not to be able to represent this year.

Not to worry, we are looking to attempt to host another ATLSMUG meeting in the month of August to replace this event.  At present time, we are still working on logistics and speakers, so be prepared to see us again.

It is our goal to continue to grow from our meetings at the Microsoft Innovation Center from May.  Looking forward to growing our group again.

Presentations will begin at 12:30 with Bruce Lyons kicking things off. Stephen Owens will then be taking over, and finally we will open up the floor around 3:00.
